Role Overview

Lead complex motor design programs, combining technical expertise and leadership to deliver innovative rotating systems while managing teams, timelines, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead major technical projects, including new and complex challenges
  • Act as Project Director with accountability for technical and commercial performance
  • Oversee motor design using advanced simulation and engineering tools
  • Approve technical deliverables and ensure high-quality outputs
  • Drive cross-functional improvements and new technical capabilities
  • Build and manage strategic customer relationships and revenue streams
  • Lead proposals, business development, and industry engagement
  • Mentor engineers and promote continuous development
  • Act as a role model for professional and technical standards

Candidate Profile (What we are looking for)

  • Extensive motor/generator development experience across multiple sectors
  • Strong expertise in electromagnetics, structures, and thermal systems
  • Proficiency in key engineering simulation tools (e.g., MotorCAD, Ansys, Matlab)
  • Experience in manufacturing processes and supplier management
  • Proven ability to lead large, multi-disciplinary programs
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer engagement skills
  • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 10+ years’ experience
