About Drive System Design

Role Overview

Provide technical and strategic leadership in developing high-voltage power electronics systems from concept to production, while guiding programs, customers, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define system architectures for inverters, converters, and charging systems
  • Act as final authority on design decisions, trade-offs, and performance
  • Lead design reviews across hardware, control, and system integration
  • Guide control strategies, safety, EMC, and system validation
  • Oversee multi-domain simulation and testing strategies
  • Ensure safe operation of high-power laboratory environments
  • Support proposals, customer engagement, and technical governance
  • Drive long-term capability development and innovation
  • Mentor engineers and build high-performance teams

Candidate Profile

  • Deep experience in high-voltage power electronics systems delivery
  • Expertise in semiconductors (SiC, IGBT, GaN) and converter topologies
  • Strong knowledge of EMC, functional safety, and system integration
  • Proven success leading large, complex engineering programs
  • Strong customer-facing and commercial skills
  • Structured, analytical problem-solving approach
