Your daily life

By joining us in Meudon, you will join the Thales Group's head office located on the banks of the Seine, organized as a true campus, bringing together in particular our digital identity and security activities.

Thales Corporate Engineering is responsible for developing digital and IT practices for the Thales group's entities. Its purpose is to prepare the group for its digital transformation and to improve the efficiency of Engineering Management activities through the Engineering Operating Model pillar. The latter is based on an organizational and governance model for engineering competence centers, a Make or Buy strategy and its methodology, as well as offshoring capabilities in France, India, and Romania.

You will take responsibility for the Engineering Management Workbench product. The position is based in Meudon, and regular travel will be required. You will report to the Director of Operations and Strategy.

Your main missions will be:

• Define the product vision and its value proposition
• Capture the operational needs of Engineering Managers
• Define the functional roadmap integrating technical levers (Cloud, AI)
• Lead the product development teams in France and Romania (cost, deadlines, quality)
• Monitor SLAs and user feedback, animate the community, and promote the solution.
• This position has an international dimension with functional authority over 20 people, in France and Romania.

YOUR PROFILE:

Technical Skills:

• Solid experience in SaaS application-oriented software engineering.
• Knowledge of digital and IS/IT activities.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence technologies applicable to software.

Professional Experience:

• You have managed engineering activities hierarchically (multi-projects, disciplines, engineering operations, or competence centers) and you master the fundamentals of Engineering Delivery (processes, practices, and engineering tools) in a multi-site and multicultural agile context.
• Knowledge of the Thales group is a plus (numerous interactions with Thales group entities).

Furthermore:

• Good synthesis skills
• Autonomous but eager to be supported by stakeholders
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Proactive
• English: very good level required
