Civil Draughtsperson

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil infrastructure models and drawings
• Preparation of preliminary and detailed design drawings and typical details to construction drawings level of details
• Management of drawing records
• Assisting with the development and maintaining of office drawing templates and standards

Requirements

• Minimum 6 – 10 years working in a design office
• Experience in droughting of civil engineering for a variety of civil infrastructure (water, sewer, roads)
• Design experience in municipal services and general civil works (Advantageous)
• Good knowledge of Local Authority & Public Works approval processes (Advantageous)
• Driver’s license and own vehicle
• Must be based in Cape Town
• Proficient in AutoCad, Civil 3D, MS Office Suite

Qualification

• Grade 12, Draughting Certificate adv
