Civil Engineer

About the Role

The position will support planning, design, analysis, and execution of a wide range of civil and site development projects. This individual will work closely with internal engineering teams, project managers, and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support civil engineering design efforts for site development, infrastructure, utility systems, transportation-related elements, and facility-based civil works.
• Prepare engineering drawings, grading plans, stormwater management designs, erosion and sediment control plans, and related documentation.
• Conduct field assessments, site inspections, and construction phase support as needed.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, load calculations, and technical analyses in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate civil design into broader project requirements.
• Develop project specifications, cost estimates, scopes of work, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with municipalities, regulatory bodies, contractors, and external partners.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes, design standards, and best practices.
• Support project scheduling, budgeting, and timely delivery of project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree a plus.
• 5+ years of professional civil engineering experience in site development, infrastructure, land development, transportation, utilities, or related disciplines.
• Proficiency with civil design tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or similar.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal permitting requirements.
• Experience preparing engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and in team settings.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information clearly.
