Civil Engineer

Context

As part of the development of construction projects (buildings, infrastructure, reinforced concrete structures, and complex structures), we are seeking a Civil Engineer to work on projects during the design and/or execution phases. You will be part of a multidisciplinary project team (construction, methods, design, project management, client representation), with direct reporting either to the technical management or the site manager, depending on the organization.

Responsibilities

• Carry out technical studies (structural sizing, calculation notes, load calculations, quantity take-offs)
• Participate in the design and optimization of structures
• Analyze multiple tender documents
• Establish technical schedules and monitor progress
• Provide technical supervision of construction sites
• Ensure compliance of work with drawings and standards
• Participate in technical meetings with stakeholders
• Identify technical risks and propose corrective solutions
• Ensure compliance with cost, deadline, and quality requirements

Profile Required

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Initial significant experience in construction
• Good knowledge of current standards and regulations
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Rigorous, autonomous, and responsible

Skills and Abilities

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in structural analysis and modeling software (Robot, ETABS, SAP2000, or equivalent)
• Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
• Ability to read and analyze drawings
• Knowledge of construction methods
• Proficiency in office software (advanced Excel preferred)
