Introduction

• Comprehensive knowledge of the railway discipline, railway construction, project management of multidisciplinary projects, experience in both passenger and freight railway projects, experience in RSR requirements and compliance

• International experience is a key requirement

Duties & Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of engineers and project managers

• Manage and deliver a range of transport infrastructure projects from design through implementation

• Provide technical and strategic oversight across transport infrastructure projects

• Drive effective project implementation, addressing risk factors and oversee the projects technical planning process.

• Continuously improve project delivery by incorporating international best practices

Growth and Business Development

• Drive growth of existing service offerings and identify business opportunities

• Develop and implement strategies aligned with the organisation’s vision

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key public and private sector stakeholders

• Lead strategic initiatives that support organisational expansion and sector leadership

Business Operations

• Provide operational leadership to support delivery and expansion of services

• Identify and implement improvements to enhance business performance

• Oversee risk management of operational matters

• Contribute to talent development through coaching, mentoring, and leadership support

• Collaborate with senior leadership as a partner on key decisions and strategic direction

Desired Experience & Qualification

• BSc or BEng degree in Civil Engineering

• 15+ years’ experience in rail infrastructure

• Professionally Registered Engineer (local or international)

• Demonstrated experience working with public and private sector clients

• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams
