Job Summary
To develop and drive targeted strategies and plans to grow client relationships through own and coordinated efforts of relevant internal and external stakeholders, that delivers growth to clients and entrenches the Smollan position as a leading retail solutions provider in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Strategy & Growth
- Develop and implement strategic client development plans to grow sales and market share
- Identify new opportunities to maximise client ROI and expand relationships
- Provide strategic guidance to internal teams to enhance client value
Commercial & Contract Management
- Review and optimise commercial models and trading terms
- Support contract negotiations and drive profitable client outcomes
- Analyse market, client, and industry trends to inform strategy
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, retailers, and internal stakeholders
- Act as a trusted advisor and key partner to clients
- Support senior client engagements and strategic discussions
Insights & Performance Analysis
- Analyse client performance, feedback, and market data to identify growth opportunities
- Develop actionable insights and recommend strategies to improve results
- Present findings and drive implementation of improvement plans
Business Growth & Client Experience
- Identify cross-selling and revenue growth opportunities
- Enhance the overall client experience through strategic engagement
- Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated client solutions
Requirements:
- 8 - 10 years’ experience in an FMCG/ Retail/Sales environment at a Senior Management level with a proven track record of managing people, clients and relationships with national retailers, suppliers and wholesalers
