The Client Services Account Executive plays a crucial role in driving sales and managing special event programs for clients who promote their products within Costco. You will work closely with the Director of Sales to develop and monitor effective marketing strategies for special events. This position is all about overseeing the logistics of the events while proactively seeking opportunities to boost business performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the scheduling of demo events across various Costco departments
  • Collaborate with key Costco buyers to create impactful demo programs and boost sales
  • Engage with external vendors to develop demo programs, continually monitoring execution and performance
  • Manage communication, procedures, and processes with Costco and vendor partners
  • Work with the Country Manager to generate necessary reports on events
  • Coordinate with Operations on client requests and changes in accordance with business standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Communication, or a related field
  • A minimum of five years of experience in sales with a focus on event logistics
  • Strong ability to handle confidential information with urgency
  • Working knowledge of marketing skills is a plus
  • Exceptional leadership, relationship-building, customer service, and project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Outstanding organizational skills with great attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, capable of addressing top executives
