About the role

Autotrader, a Cox Automotive brand, is seeking a Client Success Manager/Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work in southern Pennsylvania, specifically from areas like Johnstown, Uniontown, or Somerset PA, or Cumberland, MD.

As a Client Success Manager, your main responsibility will be to drive subscription revenue growth and retention for Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book products. You'll manage a portfolio of franchise and large independent automotive dealers, presenting innovative solutions to help them achieve their business goals. This role involves building strong relationships with dealers and providing insights into key market challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed revenue, retention, and referral goals.
  • Oversee Sales Pipeline and Forecasting.
  • Maximize use of sales enablement tools, systems, and analytics.
  • Surpass dealer expectations through exceptional service.
  • Cultivate relationships with multiple stakeholders at dealer clients to boost revenue and minimize cancellations; provide data-driven consultative assessments aligned with their operational needs.
  • Present value through monthly ROI reviews, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within your account portfolio.
  • Support sales partners from other business units to design and propose dealer solutions.
  • Champion assigned dealers during their implementation journey.
  • Address and escalate customer issues to the appropriate teams.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
  • Must live in the specified territory; travel within the sales region is required.
  • Valid driver's license needed for safe driving.

  • Experience in the automotive or advertising media sectors.
  • Field-based work history with strong independent work skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media, digital advertising, and online platforms.
  • Proficiency in CRMs and analytic tools.

Compensation: Salary ranges from USD 86,300 to USD 129,500 annually, with additional earning potential from an annual incentive/commission of USD 64,000.
