The Client Success Manager plays a vital role in enhancing the growth and retention of our valued clients by fostering strong relationships, understanding their unique needs, and consistently delivering value. This position is perfect for a driven, customer-oriented professional who thrives on problem-solving, relationship-building, and contributing to client success.

Primarily engaging with small to mid-sized businesses in the commercial construction sector—including General Contractors, Subcontractors, and similar segments—the Client Success Manager will closely collaborate with clients to pinpoint growth opportunities, tackle challenges, and ensure a standout customer experience. Success in this role hinges on curiosity, communication skills, and a proactive mindset in supporting customers through their journey.

This position is full-time and reports directly to the Director of Regional Sales.

Location

This is a remote role. We welcome candidates from the continental United States.

Travel Requirements

Travel for in-person meetings with accounts will be necessary for this position.

Essential Functions

  • Establish and nurture strong client relationships by understanding their needs, providing ongoing support, and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Create and implement strategic account plans aimed at driving revenue growth, including upselling, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
  • Proactively identify risks to client retention by detecting customer dissatisfaction early and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, issue resolution, and ongoing value delivery.
  • Leverage data and insights to demonstrate product value and effectively counter objections.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Care teams to meet client needs and enhance outcomes.
  • Advocate for clients internally, ensuring their feedback is communicated and addressed to improve the customer experience.
  • Provide training and support to clients on product usage, including demos, onboarding assistance, and best practices.
  • Meet key performance metrics related to retention, renewals, upselling, and engagement.
  • Keep precise and timely records of all client interactions within CRM systems.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of products, industry trends, and best practices.

Education Requirement

A bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent education and work experience.

Required Experience, Knowledge, and Skills

  • 2+ years of professional experience in account management, customer-facing, or related roles.
  • Strong ability to build relationships with a client-centered approach.
  • Proficient in identifying customer needs and offering thoughtful solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • High level of integrity and accountability for outcomes.
  • Ability to quickly learn and effectively apply software products.
  • Proficient in standard business tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of the construction industry or a strong willingness to learn.

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, and Skills

  • Experience in a Software as a Service (SaaS) or customer-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM or order management systems.

Salary Disclosure

$60,000-$70,000 + UNCAPPED VARIABLE INCENTIVE!

This reflects the expected salary range for the position. Final offers may vary based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job-related factors.

The compensation and rewards package for full-time roles at Dodge Construction Network includes a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and applicable roles may include uncapped commissions or an annual performance bonus.
