About the role
Job Overview
We are looking for a client-focused Client Success Manager to own relationships across our account base post-onboarding. This is an accountability role — you are the primary contact for assigned clients, you drive retention and growth, and you are measured on outcomes, not activity.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Own the post-onboarding relationship for a defined portfolio of client accounts
- Conduct regular check-ins and quarterly business reviews to assess satisfaction and identify growth opportunities
- Act as the internal advocate for client needs — escalating issues and driving resolution across departments
- Monitor client health metrics and proactively address churn risk before it escalates
Account Growth & Retention
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing client base and collaborate with the sales team to close
- Develop account growth plans aligned to client objectives and ADVDMS service capabilities
- Track and report on contract renewals, account expansion revenue, and retention rates
- Deliver client-facing performance reports with clear commentary on results and next steps
Internal Coordination
- Brief internal teams (content, paid media, SEO) on client priorities and campaign changes
- Ensure deliverables are completed on time and to the standard set in client agreements
- Maintain accurate account records in the CRM — contacts, activity logs, and pipeline status
- Flag scope creep or resourcing issues to management before they affect client delivery
Requirements
- 3+ years in a client success, account management, or customer success role within a digital agency or SaaS environment
- Working understanding of digital marketing services — paid media, SEO, content, social — at a client-briefing level
- Exceptional written and verbal communication — comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and business owners
- Experience using CRM tools (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent)
- Track record of driving retention, renewals, and account growth — numbers expected at interview
- Demonstrated ability to manage difficult client situations calmly and find practical resolutions
- Availability to work full-time in MST hours
Nice to Have
- Agency background managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Ability to build and present client-facing dashboards (Looker Studio, Google Analytics 4)
- Demonstrated success converting upsell opportunities within managed accounts
- Familiarity with GoHighLevel CRM and automation workflows
