About Our Client

Our client is a specialist nephrology group practice based within a leading private teaching hospital environment, providing care across nephrology, dialysis, ICU, ward and outpatient settings.

The Opportunity

This is a 12 month fixed term developmental opportunity for a Clinical Associate with a strong interest in Internal Medicine and long term growth within nephrology. The successful candidate will receive structured mentorship and supervised exposure to a highly specialised clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support nephrologists across hospital wards, ICU, dialysis units and outpatient settings
• Assist with chronic haemodialysis, acute dialysis and peritoneal dialysis patient care
• Participate in multidisciplinary patient management
• Work closely with senior clinicians and experienced Clinical Associates
• Read around patient cases and nephrology topics to support ongoing learning
• Maintain accurate clinical records using electronic medical systems
• Travel between hospitals and dialysis units as required

Requirements

• Qualified Clinical Associate registered with the HPCSA
• Approximately 2–5 years post-graduation experience
• Previous exposure to Internal Medicine
• Good computer literacy and confidence with electronic medical records
• Valid driver’s licence
• Willingness to travel between clinical sites in eastern Johannesburg
• Strong communication skills, professionalism and emotional maturity
• Genuine interest in learning and developing within nephrology
