As the Clinical Engineering Manager at CHEO, you will manage day-to-day operations, oversee maintenance for medical devices, and lead both internal teams and external vendors. Your expertise in engineering will help maintain quality standards, develop training strategies for your team, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HR management for Biomedical Engineering Technologist staff
• Manage BMET's maintenance and repair workloads
• Develop and implement performance audit tools
• Operate the program quality-auditing system
• Approve vendor repairs under the set threshold

Requirements

• University degree in engineering or technology
• Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) or P.Eng. certification
• Minimum 10 years' profession-related experience
• Financial management and budget control expertise
• Extensive experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
