A leading healthcare organisation is seeking an experienced Clinical Team Leader to drive operational excellence, elevate client service delivery, and lead high‑performing clinical teams.

The position focuses on guiding multidisciplinary clinical teams to meet performance targets, optimise claims outcomes, and deliver tailored healthcare solutions aligned with client and member needs. The role requires strong leadership, analytical capability, and a passion for improving health outcomes through strategic, data‑driven decision‑making.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Tertiary qualification in a health‑related field (B.Pharm, B.Cur)
• 3–5 years’ experience in a wellness or healthcare environment
• Registration with the relevant professional council
• Knowledge of EAPs, wellness programmes, healthcare management, and industry legislation
• Experience in client‑facing roles and understanding of medical scheme environments advantageous

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop clinical teams to achieve KPIs and service excellence
• Analyse data to identify opportunities for improved claims outcomes and operational efficiency
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee quality standards, turnaround times, and client query management
• Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and risk requirements
• Manage budgets, financial reporting, and medium‑term improvement cycles
• Foster a positive, growth‑oriented team culture that encourages innovation and collaboration
