About

As a Senior Cloud Ops Administrator, your mission is to ensure the stability, security, and maximum uptime of our Cloud Infrastructure. You will play a critical role in supporting tenant accounts through robust incident, request, and change management processes, all while driving efficiency through automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Stability: Maintain and optimize AWS Cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Security & Compliance: Monitor infrastructure security using AWS Security Hub and ensure strict adherence to compliance requirements.
  • Operations & Support: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud resources via incident and change management.
  • Automation: Reduce manual overhead by developing and maintaining IaC (Infrastructure as Code) scripts and automation workflows.
  • Tenant Support: Act as a technical point of contact for various business units (tenants) to resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.

Must have skills/experience/qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of dedicated experience in AWS Cloud solutions.
  • Core AWS Services: Deep expertise in EC2, S3, IAM, and related services.
  • Advanced Networking: Proficiency in VPC management, Route Tables, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, Security Groups, and NACLs.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Extensive experience with Terraform Cloud and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Automation & Scripting: Strong skills in Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Practical knowledge of Agile software development, release engineering (branching/tagging), and CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub and GitHub Actions.
  • Monitoring: Hands-on experience with Amazon CloudWatch and AWS CloudTrail.

  • Customer-Centric: A strong focus on supporting internal "tenants" and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Thinker: Exceptional conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication: Fluent in English (spoken and written).

  • Number of openings: 1
  • Duration: 6-Month initial Contract
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Hybrid position, 2-3d/w onsite in Toronto, 7hr/d billing mandatory
