Cloud & DevOps Engineer

About

We are looking for a Cloud & DevOps Engineer to support the development and operation of cloud-based backend and infrastructure components for autonomous vehicle systems. We work on scalable microservices, containerized environments, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that software and tests can be efficiently, stably, and automatically transferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab)
• Set up and manage cloud infrastructures (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Develop microservices and serverless applications
• Containerize applications (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Set up automated build, test, and deployment processes
• Create REST APIs and event-driven communication systems
• Collaborate with software, vehicle, and infrastructure teams
• Ensure scalability, security, and transparency in all systems

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps workflows, and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Very good knowledge of CI/CD tools, containers, and cloud-native architectures
• Experience with automation, monitoring, and backend development
• Advantageous: Knowledge in automotive development processes or HIL/SIL environments
• Structured, responsible way of working
• Very good German and English skills
