Cloud Architect

About

AI Futures are resourcing for a Cloud Architect. This is an opportunity to join a retail pharmaceuticals business that has seen strong year on year growth and is now operating at a multi million euro annual run rate. The company is continuing to invest heavily in its data infrastructure, analytics capability, and AI driven products to support the next stage of expansion.

The project is to implement an AI-powered supply chain orchestration platform. The goal: end-to-end visibility across a 68-country network, faster decision-making, and scenario-based "what-if" risk analysis. The environment is highly collaborative and suited to someone who enjoys building new systems and taking ownership of their work.

Role

You will be required to be in the office 4 days per week.

Compensation

Fixed salary up to 90k euros.

Responsibilities

• Architecture, design and further development of cloud solutions in Azure and GCP
• Establishment and maintenance of Terraform-based IaC structures (modules, standards, best practices)
• Definition of reference architectures, landing zones and architectural principles
• Advising development and DevOps teams on cloud and architecture decisions

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a Cloud Architect, Cloud Engineer or a comparable role
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• In-depth experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Deep understanding of cloud networks, security and IAM concepts
• Experience with container and platform services
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps methodologies and automation
• Structured, analytical way of working and strong communication skills
• Very good knowledge of German
• Preferably, you have an understanding of artificial intelligence and its possible applications
