Responsibilities

• Development of scalable backend services and microservices in Java or C# (e.g., with Spring Boot, ASP.NET Core)
• Responsibility for the entire lifecycle of the services – from the first commit to operation
• Automation in the CI/CD pipeline (e.g., Azure DevOps) and deployment in Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure
• Provisioning of the required cloud infrastructure for the services (e.g., via Terraform or Bicep)
• Use and integration of AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to minimize boilerplate code and accelerate refactorings
• Creation of clever automations for everyday development

Requirements

• Completed IT degree or comparable training
• Passion for software development
• Fluent language skills in Java
• Experience with modern architectural patterns (Microservices, Event-Driven)
• Standard knowledge in Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of code behavior in distributed systems
• Ability to analyze metrics and traces
• Interest in Agentic Workflows and Generative AI
• Experience with Prompt Engineering or internal tools with LLM APIs (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen) is an advantage
• Willingness to travel for customer consulting in Karlsruhe, Mannheim, and Stuttgart
• Fluent language skills in German and English
