Responsibilities
- Development of scalable backend services and microservices in Java or C# (e.g., with Spring Boot, ASP.NET Core)
- Responsibility for the entire lifecycle of the services – from the first commit to operation
- Automation in the CI/CD pipeline (e.g., Azure DevOps) and deployment in Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure
- Provisioning of the required cloud infrastructure for the services (e.g., via Terraform or Bicep)
- Use and integration of AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to minimize boilerplate code and accelerate refactorings
- Creation of clever automations for everyday development
Requirements
- Completed IT degree or comparable training
- Passion for software development
- Fluent language skills in Java
- Experience with modern architectural patterns (Microservices, Event-Driven)
- Standard knowledge in Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of code behavior in distributed systems
- Ability to analyze metrics and traces
- Interest in Agentic Workflows and Generative AI
- Experience with Prompt Engineering or internal tools with LLM APIs (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen) is an advantage
- Willingness to travel for customer consulting in Karlsruhe, Mannheim, and Stuttgart
- Fluent language skills in German and English
