Cloud Data Developer / DevOps Engineer (AWS)

About

We’re seeking a hands‑on DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for data‑driven applications. You’ll bridge cloud infrastructure, automation, and cloud‑native Java/microservices development, ensuring reliable deployment, monitoring, and performance of data workloads.

Must‑Have Skills

• 5+ years DevOps/Cloud Engineering with deep AWS native services (EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, Glue, Athena, Step Functions, etc.)
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (preferred) and/or AWS CloudFormation
• CI/CD pipeline design & automation (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild)
• Hands‑on development/deployment of Java/Spring Boot microservices
• Experience deploying & monitoring data‑driven applications (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
• Strong scripting (Python, Bash, or Shell) & version control (Git)

Nice‑to‑Have

• AWS Certifications (DevOps Engineer Pro, Solutions Architect)
• Experience with data orchestration (Airflow, MWAA, Step Functions)
• Security & compliance in financial/data environments (IAM, KMS, VPC, WAF)
