Cloud Data Engineer

For a major client based in Zurich we are looking for a Data Engineer for the Data Science Platform team within the cloud center of excellence in the application platform department. Tätigkeiten: In this role, you are part of a cross-functional team and responsible for the following task's: Designing, implementing, and consulting on public cloud data science services Beeing part of an international team that envisions and implements the roadmap of a mature Azure cloud based Data Science Platform (DSP) Support lifecycle of the DSP which is offered as a service towards internal stakeholders by supporting features from data ingestion to reporting Developing its infrastructure closely collaborate with DSP Engineering team to support use cases and enhance DSP setup Anforderungen: Master or Bachelor's degree in Computer science or similar Min. 3 years of practical experience in a similar role Multiple years of experience with building data pipelines and their infrastructure on public cloud services and platforms like Microsoft Azure (our primary cloud service provider) and/or Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform Experience in Hadoop and Spark based environments, especially Databricks Strong software development skills with proficiency in data transformation languages (such as Python, SQL and Scala), infrastructure as code (IaC) Knowledge of CICD and automation concepts to enhnance the maturity of DSP proven knowledge of cloud foundation services (networking, security, storage and IAM), their operation and configuration options customer focus Open-minded and proactive learning and development attitude to work with highly motivated engineers Fluent English (verbal and written) is required Sprachen: Fluent English (verbal and written) is required Einsatzort: Zürich Eintritt ab: sofort Stellenart: Temporärstelle Stellen-Nr.: 1255
