Cloud Data Engineer

About

Designs, implements, and sustains cloud-based data environments to support integration, analytics, and reporting across MDMC Digital Depot systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines integrating multiple data sources
• Support data warehousing and analytics platforms
• Design scalable cloud-native architectures
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost efficiency
• Integrate operational and enterprise data into centralized environments
• Support Power BI dashboards and reporting
• Ensure data quality, governance, and accessibility

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in data engineering or cloud environments
• Experience with ETL, data pipelines, and database systems
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or DoD cloud environments
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD data platforms
• Familiarity with logistics or maintenance systems
• Experience integrating IoT or operational data

Security Requirement

• SECRET clearance preferred; must be eligible for CAC/MCEN access
