If you’ve built and operated data platforms on Google Cloud at scale, this is worth a look. We’re hiring a Cloud Data Engineer into a live enterprise GCP environment, working on production systems already serving real users and data workloads. This is hands-on engineering on systems that are already in motion. You’ll be working across data pipelines, large-scale processing and platform optimisation within a modern GCP stack.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building production-grade data pipelines (batch and streaming)
• Developing and optimising data lakes and warehouses on GCP
• Leading data migration and transformation work in live environments
• Improving performance, cost and reliability of existing data platforms
• Working directly with stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions
• Building CI/CD and automated data infrastructure

Qualifications

• Proven delivery of data platforms in production environments
• Strong hands-on GCP experience across the full data lifecycle
• Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification is mandatory
• Strong SQL optimisation for cost and performance
• English required
• German preferred
