Title: Cloud Database Engineer
Location: Merrimack, NH (Hybrid: 2 weeks onsite/month)

We’re hiring a Cloud Engineer (not a traditional DBA) to join the Oracle Engineering team, driving enterprise‑wide Oracle platform deployments. Ideal profile: Engineer with balanced Oracle + Cloud/IaC expertise (not DBA‑heavy) who thrives in automation‑first environments.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy & manage Oracle database platforms in cloud environments
Automate core Oracle functions (OEM, auditing, observer, backups)
Build infrastructure using Terraform/CloudFormation
Enable CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Artifactory)
Support migrations from on‑prem to cloud
Ensure high availability, scalability & resilience

Must‑Have Skills

Oracle on Cloud (deployment & automation)
AWS & Azure (IaaS + managed services)
Terraform / CloudFormation (IaC)
Shell scripting & CI/CD pipelines
Monitoring tools (Datadog, OEM, OTEL)
Oracle RAC, GoldenGate, Exadata

Nice to Have

Python, Groovy, Java
Performance & replication engineering
Linux expertise
