Role Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine deployment strategies and workflows.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as Azure and AWS, including provisioning and monitoring resources.
• Automate routine tasks and improve existing automation processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and configuration.
• Monitor system performance and optimize resource usage to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Track resource utilization.
• Work with development and operations teams to integrate DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Document procedures, processes, and configurations for infrastructure and deployment.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.

Educational Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology leadership roles.
• Professional certification in relevant areas is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.

Contract Details

• Contract Length: 12 months
• Work Location: Hybrid remote in Lagos
