Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

Our client is looking for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to help tend, grow, and protect their modern cloud pastures. This role sits right at the heart of the farm, making sure the systems are well‑irrigated, securely fenced, and always producing healthy yields. You’ll be the kind of engineer who knows when to automate the tractor, how to keep the herd moving smoothly, and how to spot a problem fence before the cows wander off. From designing resilient cloud infrastructure to ensuring silky‑smooth deployments, you’ll keep the whole operation running like a prize‑winning dairy farm.

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in cloud pastures, ideally AWS
• Hands‑on know‑how with containers and orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes — herding at scale)
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (from seed to harvest)
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation — no guesswork farming)
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to spot any escaped cows early
• Comfortable scripting in Python, Bash, or similar — your trusted farm tools
• A natural problem‑solver who enjoys working across the farm with different teams

Qualification

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant cloud certifications are advantageous
