Lustrew Dynamics is a fast-growing AI innovation company building solutions across FinTech, MedTech, GovTech, and intelligent infrastructure systems. We specialize in real-time AI platforms, predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and scalable cloud-native systems.
We are currently assembling a specialized team to build OptimumAI, Nigeria’s first AI-powered Out-of-Home advertising intelligence platform.
This role is contingent upon successful contract signing with Optimum Exposures Limited.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Deployment & Environment Management
• Design, deploy, and manage the cloud infrastructure powering the OptimumAI platform.
• Build and maintain development, staging, and production environments for backend services, analytics pipelines, APIs, and internal dashboards.
• Provision and configure compute, networking, storage, and container orchestration resources to support platform scalability and reliability.
• Ensure infrastructure is standardized, repeatable, and production-ready across all deployment environments.
CI/CD & Release Engineering
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, build, packaging, and deployment of platform services.
• Automate code integration and release workflows for backend APIs, data services, analytics systems, and supporting infrastructure.
• Support fast, stable, and low-risk production releases through rollback strategies, version control discipline, and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve development velocity and deployment consistency.
Cloud Operations & Platform Reliability
• Manage cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI, depending on project deployment needs.
• Monitor system uptime, service health, performance, and infrastructure usage across all production workloads.
• Optimize infrastructure for scalability, cost efficiency, availability, and operational resilience.
• Implement logging, metrics, alerting, and incident response workflows to support ongoing platform reliability.
Containerization & Orchestration
• Package platform components using Docker and manage containerized deployment workflows.
• Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters or equivalent orchestration systems for reliable service management.
• Configure workload scaling, service discovery, ingress routing, resource allocation, and cluster health monitoring.
• Ensure infrastructure supports secure and efficient communication between APIs, data services, and frontend applications.
Security, Access Control & Compliance
• Implement secure API gateways, traffic controls, and environment-level protections for platform services.
• Manage authentication systems, secrets storage, role-based access controls, and secure service-to-service communication.
• Enforce cloud security best practices across networking, storage, access, and deployment pipelines.
• Support audit readiness through documentation, configuration standards, and operational security controls.
Infrastructure as Code & Automation
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code templates for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
• Automate repeatable infrastructure tasks to reduce manual setup, configuration drift, and deployment errors.
• Maintain version-controlled infrastructure configurations and support environment reproducibility.
• Contribute to long-term platform maintainability through automation and operational standardization.
Collaboration & Documentation
• Work closely with backend engineers, AI/ML engineers, data engineers, and product teams to ensure cloud infrastructure supports platform requirements.
• Translate technical platform needs into scalable deployment and operations strategies.
• Document architecture decisions, deployment procedures, system configurations, and recovery processes.
• Support internal technical handoff and operational continuity throughout the OptimumAI project lifecycle.
Required Skills & ExperienceEducation & Background
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related roles.
• Proven experience deploying and managing production cloud infrastructure for web platforms, APIs, analytics systems, or enterprise applications.
Technical Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker for containerization
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Experience with one or more major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, or similar
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, compute, storage, and load balancing
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
• Familiarity with Linux server administration and cloud security best practices
• Experience supporting API-based platforms and distributed systems in production
Bonus / Preferred Skills
• Experience deploying AI/ML-enabled platforms or analytics-heavy systems
• Experience with secure API gateway implementation and service authentication
• Experience with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Cloud-native monitoring tools
• Experience with GitOps, release automation, and rollback strategies
• Familiarity with high-availability architecture and disaster recovery planning
• Experience with Nigerian enterprise deployments or high-growth startup environments

Job Types: Full-time, Contract Contract length: 12 months
Pay: ₦300,000.00 - ₦500,000.00 per month
