Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and engaging Freelance Tutor to deliver a comprehensive training programme covering Cloud Computing, DevOps, and AI/ML. This role is ideal for a hands‑on industry professional who is passionate about teaching and can simplify complex concepts for beginners while guiding them through practical labs and real‑world projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver live, instructor‑led training sessions (online)
• Teach both foundational and intermediate concepts across cloud, DevOps, and AI
• Guide students through hands‑on labs and practical exercises
• Support learners with questions, assignments, and troubleshooting
• Contribute to improving course materials and lab exercises
• Mentor students through a capstone project (Full DevOps Pipeline with AI Integration)

Modules You Will Teach

• Cloud Computing fundamentals (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Cloud architecture, billing, networking, and security
• DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Linux fundamentals and scripting
• Programming fundamentals (Python)
• AI/ML on AWS (model training, deployment, MLOps)
• AIOps and AI integration in DevOps environments

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–7+ years of hands‑on experience in Cloud/DevOps/SRE roles
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Practical experience with:
  • CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline)
  • Containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Configuration management (Ansible)
• Solid understanding of Linux, networking, IAM, and cloud security
• Experience with Python and automation scripting
• Exposure to AI/ML workflows and cloud‑based model deployment

Preferred Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer
• Microsoft Azure Certifications
• Google Cloud Certifications
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate

Teaching & Soft Skills

• Prior teaching, training, or bootcamp delivery experience
• Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, engaging way
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Patient, supportive, and student‑focused approach

Contract Details

• Freelance / Contract role
• Flexible delivery schedule (aligned with course timetable)
• Per‑cohort rate (based on experience)
