We are plusserver, a leading German cloud provider with the platform for digitalization "Made in Germany". We have developed the first German Enterprise Open Source Cloud and rely on the power of our four data centers in Hamburg, Düsseldorf, and Cologne. For over 25 years, we have been supporting companies and public clients in IT modernization with innovative cloud services, hosting, and colocation. What drives us? Currently, we are looking for a Cloud Engineer on a full-time, permanent basis.

What you'll do

• You are responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a scalable and reliable infrastructure.
• You develop monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• You will also further develop our cloud infrastructure and automate deployment processes.
• Together with the development teams, you will participate in the implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
• From start to finish: You are responsible for the developed products – from the product idea to billing.
• Troubleshooting and solving infrastructure and application problems complete your tasks.

What makes you stand out

Your personality, paired with:

• Your Foundation: You have deep experience in programming in GO and/or Python, ideally supplemented by IT training or a degree.
• Your Core Competence: You have well-founded, practical experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Your Cloud Heart: You think in code, pipelines, and automation and have practical experience with Ansible, Git, and GitLab.
• Your Work Style: You like to take responsibility, solve problems independently, and have the drive to continuously improve systems and processes.
• Ideally: Initial experience with virtualization software such as VMware or Proxmox, including infrastructure provisioning and automation.
