Cloud Engineer (Azure)

We’re partnering with a rapidly growing organization to add a Cloud Engineer (Azure) to their team. This is a great opportunity to work on modern cloud infrastructure, drive automation, and support scalable, enterprise-grade environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support and maintain a complex Azure cloud environment (IaaS / PaaS / SaaS) with a focus on performance, stability, and security
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and lead incident response & escalation management
• Implement changes aligned with change management, vulnerability remediation, and disaster recovery protocols
• Design and build scalable, highly available cloud architectures
• Develop and deploy infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, or CLI
• Drive automation to improve reliability, repeatability, and operational efficiency
• Manage cloud capacity planning, performance profiling, and load testing
• Configure and optimize networking, identity, security, and governance frameworks
• Collaborate across teams to take solutions from proof-of-concept to production
• Evaluate and introduce new cloud technologies to solve evolving business challenges

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering / cloud infrastructure
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and architecture
• Azure certifications preferred (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500, AZ-700, etc.)
• Experience with:
  • Azure App Services, API Management, and Database Services
  • Load balancing tools (Front Door, Application Gateway, WAF)
  • Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, source control)
  • Containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes preferred)
• Experience designing high availability, multi-region, disaster recovery environments
• Strong scripting/automation experience (Terraform, PowerShell, CLI, Bicep)
• Exposure to AWS or GCP is a plus
• Strong communication skills—able to bridge technical and business conversations
