About the role
Position Overview
Seeking a Cloud Engineer to support enterprise cloud solutions. The role focuses on designing, developing, implementing, and supporting cloud-native applications and infrastructure across modern cloud platforms.
The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in cloud engineering, application modernization, workload migration, and DevOps practices. Candidates should demonstrate direct individual contributions in prior projects.
This role also includes working with AI-enabled solutions such as GPT integrations, prompt engineering, and enterprise use cases like chatbots, summarization, and semantic search.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and support cloud-native applications, services, and APIs using technologies like .NET, .NET Core, Python, and containers.
- Build secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions.
- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure for application modernization and enterprise solutions.
- Support cloud migration, integration, and modernization initiatives.
- Work with cloud services including compute, storage, networking, APIs, and serverless technologies.
- Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and similar platforms.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using modern tools.
- Apply software engineering, architecture, and SDLC best practices.
- Participate in solution design, planning, and technical reviews.
- Work with networking concepts such as DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and virtual networks.
- Support AI-based solutions including prompt engineering, chatbots, and intelligent automation.
- Ensure performance optimization, cost management, and compliance in cloud environments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience
- 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (compute, storage, networking)
- 4+ years of experience in cloud-native application development and integration
Highly Desired Skills
- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools
- Experience with .NET, .NET Core, C# (4+ years)
- Python programming experience (4+ years)
- Experience with AI model integration and prompt engineering (1+ year)
- Experience with AI-driven applications (chatbots, summarization, semantic search) (1+ year)
- Relevant cloud certifications
Additional Notes
- Candidates must be willing to relocate for a hybrid work model.
- First day onsite required for equipment and onboarding.
- Role is contingent upon successful background checks and required clearances.
- Start date will be finalized after clearance approval.
- Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
