TOPdesk is an international software company in the field of service management with 900 employees in 11 countries and 5,000 customers worldwide. For our Kaiserslautern location, founded in 2004, we are looking for a Cloud Engineer (m/f/d) to support our international operations team.

Your Environment

Our team consists of twelve colleagues in total. We find it important to be open with each other, which also means we regularly give each other feedback. We work according to agile principles. There is always something to do when it comes to maintenance, improvements, and smarter working. So, as a team, we determine what has high priority in our backlog. Retrospectives keep us on our toes and show us what improvements can be made. We expect you to handle technology playfully. Mind you: playfully, but responsibly!

Your Job

• Responsible for availability and development of our global SaaS platform
• Support the development team in delivering and improving their products
• Independent automation and optimization of existing processes
• Selection of suitable tools and use of common scripting languages
• Identification and elimination of problems to continuously improve the security and performance of our environment

Your Profile

• Successfully completed university studies in the IT field
• At least two years of relevant professional experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a comparable position
• Very good English skills for international communication
• Experience with cloud environments and virtualization technologies, e.g. VMware, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes
• Confident use of Infrastructure as Code, e.g. Terraform or Puppet
