Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Kubernetes-based cloud platform (Red Hat OpenShift, RKE, EKS, GKE, AKS..)
• Build, operate and maintain innovative cloud solutions on AWS (Amazon Web Services).
• Taking full responsibility for the platform and being part of the on-call team for the platform
• Work with tools and technologies like Grafana, Prometheus, Kubernetes
• Evaluate and align on alternative solutions
• Facilitate design decisions within the constraints of systems designs, design standards, quality, costs, feasibility, extensibility and maintainability
• Handle security aspects and help to create shift-left culture inside the company
• Challenge and influence our Cloud Transformation strategy with a common understanding for Kubernetes and public cloud services
• Manage day-to-day operational task with service providers doing a SLAs follow up to ensure the best service offering for our clients.
• Provide proper management of incidents, requests and projects and ensure a successful solution for problems; control and process improvements to achieve business objectives.
• Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Industry standard tools and services

Requirements

• Basic Linux system administration knowledge (Ubuntu based)
• Configuration Management tools (such as Puppet, Ansible..)
• Containers orchestration (Kubernetes,Docker)
• Some Experience with scripting (with one of Bash, python, golang)
• Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English
• Knowledge on DevOps or SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) practice
• Attitude to work in team
• Flexibility, autonomy and proactivity
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Source control management tool (Git)
• Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills
• Customer-Centric Mindset

Nice-to-have

• Monitoring and reporting tools knowledge (like ELK, Grafana, Zabbix)
• AWS or GCP experience
• Platform engineering enthusiast
