Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a relevant technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or computer science
- At least 3 years of direct experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS or Azure environments
- Solid understanding of AWS & Azure functionalities
- Recent hands‑on work experience with AWS and Azure products
- Experience managing hybrid cloud solutions
- Active Secret Security Clearance is required
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and related tools
- Masters degree in a relevant field
- Top Secret Security Clearance
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or equivalent certifications
- Azure Administrator Associate Certification
- Experience operating in IL6 or equivalent secure environments
- Knowledge of security requirements for federal IT environments, including FedRAMP‑certified providers and FISMA requirements for obtaining an ATO
- Familiarity with Agile and containerization methodologies
- Experience with Cross‑Domain Solutions (IL5 / IL6)
Responsibilities
- Evaluate cloud‑based technical solutions and designs to meet client specifications
- Provide expertise in monitoring the design and engineering of cloud infrastructure and applications
- Serve as the primary engineering contact for the client’s cloud experience, addressing performance and delivery issues
- Ensure vendor cloud solutions adhere to security protocols, controls, and best practices mandated by industry and government
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to document controls and support accreditation processes such as IATT and ATO
- Escalate issues, challenges, and risks to appropriate stakeholders for resolution
- Administer and oversee IL4/IL5/IL6 cloud accounts and performance metrics
- Create parent and child accounts or organizations within an IL4/IL5/IL6 framework
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of AWS & Azure products and features
- Engage in hands‑on work independently in DoD cloud environments
- Collaborate effectively within team settings to establish and uphold cloud architectures
- Manage multiple customer priorities with minimal supervision
- Develop High Availability and Disaster Recovery processes in line with guidelines from government and industry
- Assist in establishing DevSecOps pipelines within the Government Cloud Framework
Salary
$140,000 – $180,000 per year
