About the role

About rPotential

We are an enterprise AI startup launched by The Adecco Group and Salesforce, reimagining the future of work. We build enterprise intelligence that helps organizations understand, design, and scale workforces where humans and AI collaborate — not compete. Our goal is simple but bold: To help leaders automate work thoughtfully, make smarter workforce decisions, and adopt AI without losing the human heart of work — so people and technology can reach their full potential together.

Role Overview

We are seeking a technical Infrastructure Team Manager to lead our Cloud Engineering team and Integration teams. You will be responsible for the architecture, reliability, and scalability of our multi-cloud/hybrid environment. Your primary goal is to ensure that our cloud foundation is robust enough to support complex third-party and internal integrations while fostering a culture of automation and "Infrastructure as Code" (IaC). You will be hands on while excelling at cross team communication and service & security focus.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Cloud Engineers focusing on high-performance infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the various Product and Development groups to ensure seamless data flow, API management, and connectivity between disparate systems.
  • Define/Refine the cloud roadmap, aligning infrastructure capabilities with business growth and product requirements.

Infrastructure & Operations

  • Oversee the design and maintenance of scalable cloud environments (predominantly Azure).
  • Drive the adoption of Kubernetes (K8s) and containerization strategies to support microservices-based integrations.
  • Ensure 99.9% uptime by implementing robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response protocols
  • Build and maintain secure, high-speed connections (VPNs, Direct Connect, API Gateways) for external partner integrations.
  • Optimize CI/CD pipelines to allow Integration teams to deploy middleware and connectors rapidly and safely.
  • Standardize environment provisioning to ensure dev, staging, and production parity for integration testing.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement "Security by Design," ensuring all cloud infrastructure meets industry standards (SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies to ensure the principle of least privilege across engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years in Cloud Engineering/DevOps, with at least 2+ years in a formal leadership or management role.
  • Technical Depth: Expert-level knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (Azure) and IaC tools like Terraform.
  • Integration Knowledge: Proven experience managing infrastructure for integration platforms (MuleSoft) or custom API-led architectures.
  • Networking: Deep understanding of VPCs, DNS, Load Balancing, and hybrid-cloud connectivity.
  • Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong proficiency in FinOps (Cloud Cost Optimization).
  • Communications and service orientation are essential

What Success Looks Like in 3 Months

  • 30-45 Days: Audit current infrastructure, identify bottlenecks in the integration deployment process, and establish a 1:1 cadence with your direct reports and tight working relationships with your peers
  • 60-90 Days: Automate 80% of routine infrastructure provisioning and reduce "Time-to-Integration" for new partner connections by 30%.
