For our Digital Innovation & Cloud Enablement program at the Hamburg location, we are looking for you as a Cloud Native Engineer* starting as soon as possible.

Our IT department, with approximately 300 employees, largely works agilely using a Scrumban approach and covers areas such as Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Operations, Process and Governance, Software Development, and Architecture. We are particularly proud to develop almost all of our applications in-house, which gives us unique flexibility and innovative strength. Our tech stack includes modern technologies such as Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, and Python, CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes, as well as Azure Cloud, Azure SQL Database, and Oracle Database with PL/SQL.

Your Role in the Team

With us, you are part of a strong Cloud Native team that makes real successes possible with modern technologies like Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD – and a lot of automation. Together with colleagues from Development, Architecture, and Security, you will shape solutions that define the banking of tomorrow. You can further develop your cloud expertise and, together with us, shape the next stage towards AIOps, FinOps, and future-proof DevOps environments. What tasks await you?

• Automated provisioning and management of infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible
• Support for the deployment of applications based on microservices architectures, containers, and cloud platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
• Use of orchestration solutions like Kubernetes for efficient deployment, scaling, and management of container applications
• Building and maintaining automated build, test, and deployment pipelines (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery)
• Ensuring IT security, compliance, monitoring, scalability, and resilience

Who are we looking for?

• Completed studies in (business) informatics, IT training, or comparable qualification
• Experience with modern DevOps practices and tools, and a passion for continuous process optimization
• Experience in operating and automating cloud platforms (Google Cloud, STACKIT, Azure, or comparable)
• Knowledge in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi) or similar
• Team spirit, agile working methods, willingness to learn – and ideally Mario Kart skills
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
