Requirements 📝
- Over 7 years of experience in designing, deploying, and delivering advanced support for multi‑protocol IP backbone and access networks
- More than 5 years of experience in deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multi‑vendor network and security platforms, including Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Juniper Networks, Dell Technologies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and VMware
- Expertise in routing, switching, and security protocols such as BGP, IS‑IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS, STP, L3VPN, IPsec, GRE, DMVPN, EIGRP, and QoS
- Experience in deploying and configuring SD‑WAN solutions, including practical work with Versa Networks Director, Analytics, and FlexVNF platforms
- Proficiency in designing and integrating cloud networking solutions within Microsoft Azure, including ExpressRoute, Hub‑Spoke, NSG and UDR policies, or Azure Firewall
- Understanding of Zero Trust architecture models, SASE frameworks, and SD‑WAN and SSE convergence strategies
- Capability to document complex network and security architectures, operational procedures, and troubleshooting methods
- Active Secret clearance
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to secure a DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification within 6 months of hiring

- Collaborate with the DoD to design a dependable network that supports essential missions
- Work closely with subject matter experts, customers, and users to understand strategic objectives and operational demands that shape network requirements
- Provide guidance during the planning phase for the acquisition, installation, configuration, and upkeep of network components
- Address interoperability challenges across various platforms
- Assist in the procurement of hardware
- Utilize your skills in backbone networks, cloud technologies, and core networking to enhance our engineering efforts
