Responsibilities

• Automation & Scalability: You develop automation solutions for the efficient deployment and scaling of cloud-based applications.
• Monitoring & Incident Management: You ensure proactive system monitoring, analyze incidents, and perform root cause analyses to improve reliability in the long term.
• CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code: You optimize deployment pipelines and automate infrastructure with tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Performance & Optimization: You work on scaling strategies, capacity planning, and implementing fault tolerance mechanisms to ensure the availability and resilience of our systems.
• Technical Support: You are the point of contact for second-level support, assist clients in optimizing their cloud environments, and ensure stable operation (including emergency management and on-call duty).

Requirements

• Cloud-Native Expertise: You have in-depth experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS and know how to build scalable and fault-tolerant cloud architectures.
• Automation & Infrastructure as Code: You have extensive experience with tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, which you confidently use for automating infrastructure and deployments.
• Monitoring & Observability: You have experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor and can implement proactive monitoring strategies and error prevention.
• Incident Management & Troubleshooting: You analyze incidents quickly and effectively and ensure sustainable error correction and system optimization through automation.
• Agile & Communicative: You are a dedicated team player, enjoy working in agile processes, and communicate clearly and effectively in German and English.
• Very good German and English skills (min. C1) for working in international teams and communicating with German-speaking clients.

Application Process

• Initially, there is a casual first get-to-know-you session with HR, where insights are provided, mutual expectations are clarified, and general questions are answered to establish an initial framework.
• A second meeting delves into technical depth, and a task may be assigned. We discuss project workflows, client projects, technical requirements, etc. A subject matter expert will naturally be involved to provide support.
• In the final step, there is naturally an opportunity to get a picture of the respective locations and to get to know the team over a shared lunch. You will also meet the respective team leader and COO.
