Responsibilities

• You will assume technical responsibility for the operation, availability, and security of our productive Azure cloud applications.
• You will be the owner of your applications and environments, focusing on platform stability, security, and cost optimization.
• You will develop and operate robust monitoring and alerting systems that ensure complete transparency and rapid response capabilities.
• You will automate infrastructure, processes, and deployments using Terraform, Ansible, or Bash – identifying and consistently eliminating manual tasks.
• You will analyze disruptions, conduct root cause analyses, and sustainably resolve problems – not just symptoms.
• You will develop and implement the security standards for our cloud environments and ensure consistent compliance with policies.
• You will actively participate in technical further development, contribute new ideas, evaluate tools, and independently drive improvements.

Requirements

• Completed technical degree, e.g., in (Business) Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and their efficient operation and security.
• Experience with containers and container orchestration.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code: Bash scripting, Terraform, or similar.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Dynatrace.
• Ideally, experience working with Linux systems.
• You work independently, pragmatically, and goal-oriented.
• You possess strong communication skills in German and English. We require at least German language skills at C1 level and English language skills at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
