Cloud Operations Engineer (m/w/d)

About

You will become part of an agile technology team and help shape the operational processes for data-driven applications. You will work with modern cloud platforms and container orchestration solutions, and you will also support integration pipelines for spatial and technical data. Responsibilities

• Design the setup and further development of an operating model for data integration platforms
• Operate and monitor hosting environments for data-intensive applications in the cloud
• Optimize container-based deployments and orchestrate scalable runtimes
• Automate operational processes using Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting
• Work closely with developers to ensure stable and maintainable operational processes
• Support testing and acceptance processes in technical projects
• Create documentation, status reports, and operating manuals

Qualifications

• Possess a degree or comparable IT training with initial practical experience
• Have knowledge of cloud infrastructures and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Bring experience with data integration or ETL tools, ideally FME or comparable platforms
• Work in a structured, solution-oriented, and team-oriented manner
• Communicate confidently in German and English
• Have an interest in automation, monitoring, and the further development of operational processes
