Cloud Platform Team Lead

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project leadership, mentoring engineers, or holding a technical leadership position
• Proficient in AWS, including fundamental cloud infrastructure and operational support
• Skilled in containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS
• Experienced in the development and management of CI/CD pipelines
• Background in deploying and supporting applications within cloud environments
• Possession of TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelors degree with at least 5 years of experience in relevant fields such as cloud engineering or systems engineering, or Masters degree with a minimum of 3 years in similar roles
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification

Your responsibilities are:

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams
• Design, enhance, and maintain cloud platform services hosted on AWS
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve application delivery and operational effectiveness
• Deploy, troubleshoot, and support applications across diverse environments
• Oversee and advance containerized workloads with modern platforms and tools
• Facilitate collaborative discussions between technical and business teams
• Develop and uphold disaster recovery protocols and backup strategies
• Implement load balancing and ensure high availability of platform patterns
• Analyze and resolve issues related to platform, deployment, and applications
• Engage in Agile methodologies, including scrums and planning meetings
• Generate and update technical documentation and operational procedures
• Adhere to best security practices in cloud and application management
• Continuously advance platform reliability, scalability, and maintenance processes
