Cloud Product Manager (Telecoms)

Are you fluent in both Cloud and Carrier IT?

We're seeking a Cloud Product Manager with deep expertise in Cloud, Virtualization, and Data Infrastructure to drive solution positioning and sales within the telecom (Carrier) industry for Huawei South Africa.

This role bridges technology and business, working closely with operators and enterprise clients to translate complex IT architectures into commercial wins.

What You’ll Do.... • Lead pre-sales and solution positioning for Cloud, AI, Big Data, Storage, and Virtualization offerings. • Engage with telecom operators to identify customer needs and design tailored IT transformation solutions. • Create technical proposals, business value cases, and customer presentations that win deals. • Work with R&D and delivery teams to align product capabilities with field requirements. • Support go-to-market strategy, RFPs, and proof-of-concept projects for carrier-grade IT solutions.

What You Need To Bring... • 5+ years of experience in solution sales or pre-sales within telecom or enterprise IT. • Hands-on knowledge of AWS, Azure, Huawei Cloud, or GCP. • Strong grasp of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), storage, and data centre infrastructure. • Proven ability to translate technical capabilities into customer business value. • Confident engaging with C-level clients in telecom or financial sectors. • Commercially driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
