Role Overview

• Work with Engineering, Infrastructure Services, and Application Development organizations in developing security solutions and facilitates complete integration into the company Cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure).
• Advanced understanding of tools and techniques used by attackers to exploit common IT system flaws and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and contribute to the high-quality security architecture specifications, white papers, technical documentation, and presentation materials.
• Assist the Cloud Security leader in IT Security while engaging with other technical team members throughout organization in design and implementation of cloud and cloud/hybrid-based implementations and solutions.
• Work with little or no supervision in engineering deliverables based on high-level directives and principles to meet project requirements and timelines.
• Make informed decisions on matters of risk and security engineering approach that reflect the information security experience and industry best practices.
• Contribute to the security reference architectures for complex information systems based on industry frameworks and with traceable alignment to business requirements and goals.
• Ensure security tools are deployed with appropriate security policies and rules to manage security risk, feed events to the corporate SIEM and minimize impact to systems and users.
• Stay current with industry trends in the information security space.
