Cloud Software Engineer (W2)

Introduction

The Cloud Software Engineer (W2) will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud-based applications and services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Kafka, Jenkins, and Oracle/DB2 databases. This role requires hands-on experience with various cloud services, containerization, API development, SQL query writing, and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using Python
• Utilize AWS services such as ECS, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, and S3
• Implement and manage Kubernetes/EKS clusters
• Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform
• Integrate and work with Kafka for real-time data streaming
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Monitor application performance using Datadog
• Collaborate with team members to implement DevOps practices
• Write SQL queries against Oracle and DB2 databases
• Participate in agile development processes
