Responsibilities

• Consulting departments and projects on cloud technologies and architectural decisions
• Design scalable, secure cloud and solution architectures
• Definition of architectural principles, standards, and reference architectures
• Support for projects in technical solution designs and architectural decisions
• Integration of cloud services into existing classic system landscapes
• Conducting architecture reviews and design governance
• Consideration of regulatory requirements (e.g., BaFin, DORA, ISO?27001, NIS2)
• Ensuring security-by-design, compliance, and auditability
• Close cooperation with security, risk, and compliance teams
• Moderation of architecture workshops and decision-making processes

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cloud, Solution, or Enterprise Architect
• Demonstrable practical experience in designing cloud architectures in regulated industries (e.g., finance, insurance, healthcare)
• Experience with architecture governance, architecture boards, and enterprise architecture frameworks
• Practical experience in cloud transformations and migrations
• Very good knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, containers, and API architectures
• Basic understanding of Identity & Access Management as well as network and security architectures
• Ideally, experience in software development or DevOps
• Strong analytical skills and pronounced consulting and communication skills
• Structured, documentation-strong way of working at the interface between business and IT
