Cloud Solutions Architect - Remote

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Cloud Solutions Architect to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing principles, best practices, and a proven ability to translate business requirements into effective technical architectures. Responsibilities include designing cloud-native applications, developing migration strategies for on-premises systems to the cloud, and ensuring the optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and security of cloud environments. You will evaluate and select appropriate cloud services and technologies, create detailed architectural diagrams and documentation, and provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams. Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is required, along with experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and serverless computing. A strong understanding of networking, security, databases, and DevOps principles is essential. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and provide innovative cloud solutions. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture.
