Cloud Solutions Engineer Architect - Cape Town

Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud solutions (on-prem + Azure). • Develop secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructures aligned with business needs. • Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates, etc.) to automate deployments. • Write and maintain scripts for automation, monitoring, and orchestration (PowerShell, Python, Bash). • Collaborate with architects, developers, and security teams for integrated cloud solutions. • Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions (IaaS, BaaS, DRaaS). • Monitor and optimize performance, security, and cost of cloud infrastructure. • Document cloud architectures, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements: • 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, solution design, or hybrid cloud implementation. • Strong experience with: • Hitachi Vantara technologies (storage, backup, DR). • Microsoft Azure (compute, storage, networking, security, automation). • Expertise in hybrid cloud architecture and solution deployment. • Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates, etc.) and automation scripting. • Knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance standards, and governance. • Relevant certifications preferred: • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) • Hitachi Vantara Certified Professional/Expert • DevOps/automation certifications (Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.)
