Join our team as a Cloud Solutions Engineer! Your expertise will directly contribute to the innovation and integrity of our cloud infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in supporting cloud implementation and integration with leading cloud service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and test systems that facilitate cloud implementation, leveraging advanced principles of computer science and engineering.
• Plan and execute tasks for the implementation and maintenance of our internal cloud enterprise shared virtualization infrastructure.
• Develop cloud solution roadmaps aligned with business strategies to achieve our objectives effectively.
• Utilize mathematical models to predict and measure the outcomes of cloud system designs.
• Analyze cloud requirements to ensure designs meet time and cost considerations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to address hardware, software, operational, and performance requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Active TS/SCI or Top Secret with SCI eligibility is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; alternatively, 10 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• A minimum of 8 years of work-related experience is essential.
• Certification: Security+ or DoD 8570 IAT-II is required.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% - 20% is necessary.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect - Associate, Azure Fundamentals, or Google Associate Cloud Engineer are advantageous.
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud environment provider.
• Understanding of networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
• Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform is a plus.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools for cloud environments.
• Demonstrated ability to develop detailed plans, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with geographically distributed teams.

Salary

Minimum Salary: $170,000.00 Maximum Salary: $188,000.00
