About the role
About Threedy
Threedy is an AI-enabled industrial SaaS company transforming how engineering data is visualised, integrated and utilised across complex enterprise environments. Founded as a spin-out from the Fraunhofer Institute in Darmstadt, we combine deep scientific expertise with commercial scale-up ambition. Backed by Series A funding and a recent growth round, we're accelerating our productisation and market expansion. Our platform enables large industrial enterprises to work with complex 3D engineering and product data in a simplified, scalable and collaborative way, now enhanced by an AI layer that reduces implementation friction and speeds up deployment. With strong traction in automotive and expanding into defence, heavy industrial machinery, energy and manufacturing, we're entering a new growth phase, and delivery excellence is at the core of it.
The Role

- Provision and manage cloud environments on AWS and Azure
- Set up and maintain on-premise installations on virtual machines or customer-operated Kubernetes clusters
- Advise and support customers in architecting solutions, troubleshooting issues, and adopting best practices
- Drive continuous improvement by researching new tooling, defining standard deployment procedures, and keeping our infrastructure knowledge base up to date
- Collaborate closely with the development team, feeding back real-world insights to shape the product roadmap and improve the customer experience
What You Bring
- ~5 years of hands-on experience delivering customer-facing projects involving cloud infrastructure, containerised deployments, and enterprise integrations
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, including networking, compute, and managed services
- Deep experience with Docker and Kubernetes (self-hosted and managed, including EKS and AKS) and tooling like Helm
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or equivalent
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
- Scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or similar
- Team-first mindset with the ability to bridge engineering teams and enterprise customers
- Professional proficiency in German (mandatory) and English
What We Offer
- Hybrid work model, with remote flexibility and regular on-site presence in Germany
- Flexible hours, with a focus on outcomes rather than clock-watching
- A meaningful role at the heart of a cutting-edge 3D platform used by global enterprises
- Dedicated training and development budget
- A diverse, multicultural team with regular team events
