Cloud Support Engineer

We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, deep-tech company based in Zürich at the forefront of applied AI and autonomous systems. Already in production and scaling rapidly, they are looking for a Cloud Support Engineer in Infrastructure & Operations to strengthen their core engineering team.

This is a hands-on role for someone early in their career who wants real ownership, real impact, and the chance to grow fast in a world-class technical environment.

Your Role

You'll be the go-to person for cloud and on-prem infrastructure reliability. More than just keeping the lights on, you'll actively reduce operational complexity, support R&D teams, and help shape the platform the entire engineering org depends on.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure reliability across cloud and on-premises environments
• Respond to and resolve incidents, building automation to prevent recurrence
• Develop runbooks and processes to make operations sustainable and scalable
• Partner with R&D squads to unblock their work and accelerate onboarding
• Drive continuous improvement — spot inefficiencies, automate them away
• Contribute to the evolution of the internal service catalog and platform roadmap

Who You Are

• Solid hands-on background in Linux, Kubernetes, Terraform and Azure
• Comfortable owning CI/CD pipelines and networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, firewalls)
• Someone who wants to build and own infrastructure
• Based in Switzerland, happy to work on-site
• Fluent in English

Bonus points for: AWS, GCP, Ansible, Nix, PKI, Grafana, Prometheus, IoT or agile environments
